Filter Adapter has been modified with a built in check valve to ensure that fuel prime
is maintained during filter changes. The O.E.M. threaded filter stud is removed from the filter
head. The new threaded stud is installed in its place. The check-valve equipped adapter is then
spun onto the stud. The O.E.M. stud is then spun into the bottom of the newly installed adapter.
Then the filter is reinstalled.
In essence we are merely adding a prime-maintaining check valve to the filter head to ensure
fuel prime is not lost back in the tank. This will prevent you from having to crack the
injectors to re-prime your system.
